Skyrim SE VR

I'm glad to see Skyrim VR becoming prominent in the Skyrim SE part of the website, but there are two problems I'd like to highlight, please.

1. The Categorisation of VR does not always catch the VR mods being developed; that might be down to individual modders tagging.
2. The natural search term "VR" is of course two characters and the site search engine requires three characters minimum. So running a search on VR is refused (although it appears to work anyway).

Can I park this with you Robin and others for a bit of creative thinking over how the VR versions on games can be made search-friendly?

Hey BlueGunk. Very good points.

 

We do indeed rely on authors to categorize and preferably tag their file properly. That said, if there is a discrepancy, you can always let me or another staff member know and we can get it sorted.

 

Regarding searches, we came to realize the issue you mention with the 2 letter phrase "VR" recently. We are going to look into a solution for this but some considerations must be made before we know if that's a possibility. In the meantime, because of the way our search currently works, you can query "vr skyrim" or "vr fallout" with some success.
