gtx 1080 with i5-6600k in fallout 4

my PC has a corsair water cooler H55, 16GB of RAM, fallout 4 in a SSD( 550MBs), GTX 1060 6G strix oc, and the monitor is 1080p 60hz, 600w of power, and the I5-6600k( base clock of 3.5--3.9)

 

i would like to buy a 144hz monitor in the future, thats why im thinking of get the gtx 1080

Setup is good enough and well, for 1080p/60hz, the 1060 6gd5 is good enough too.

Just hope the 600w is decent unit and not a basic low-end model.

 

But since you have plans to upgrade the screen for 144hz, I would say, go with a decent 1440p/144hz screen(IPS Panel if u have the extrapennies) and wait for the upcoming nvidia gpus (release is more or less right around the corner :thumbsup:)

*Depends how long you can/wanna wait for your upgrade.
