I am getting back into EVE again but this time I can stay forever. The new F2P alpha clone system is great!

There has never been a cooler time to jump back in guys!

I recently tried Eve again, and it was great fun. Lots to catch up on.

 

I like the Alpha clones, as they suit my style of trading where I set up orders for 3 months and do not monitor/modify. I thus use my omega clone sparingly.

 

I tried some L4 missions in my trusty tengu, which was fun. The slot layout has changed, and I had fun trying to max. out DPS. It is great that rigs are no longer destroyed on removing and you can play around with the fit more freely.

 

My main current interest in game is fireworks (the newer ones are brilliant). I may frequently be found outside Jita firing away at anyone who pauses (mostly gankers).

 

Am leaving for a 6 week vacation, thus unlikely to catch you in game soon.

sometime ago i tried to get into this game but feels really dead, not many people playing.

 

i remember downloading and installing the game. the server list was but a few and all was empty except 1. that one had some players, probably less than 1000

I played the first 5 years of EVE, did skilltraining during all that time.

My character has all the skills maxed to build and fly all classes up to and including carrier (mostly amarr), the best implants, full officer gear on my shiny (faction) ships.

 

When i went back to my account not long ago when they introduced a F2P option i noticed i couldn't use ANYTHING!

All my skills were capped off at the F2P max point and all the shiny ships are confined to my hangar since it's not allowed to fly them as F2P.

 

I used to love EVE but this sickened me to the point i will never ever go back again.

convert the account to omega and you get full access back.
