Hey there people more intelligent than me!!!

So after lot of time put in modding Skyrim I literally started crying from frustration and decided to leave it for later :wallbash:

So... What I can do? Play Oblivion, why not? Oblivion... *AEKHEM* So yes, I decided to install some visual mods for characters because you know. *Whispers* "Potatooo Headsss". But if I'm going to do something with it - why don't do an overkill? Right? So I installed few body mods too. And don't think that I never did it before. I just ran on identical problem and didn't know how to get over it.

Okay, okay. I don't want to learn entire story of your life. What do you want?

If I said something about body mods - you already know what is the whole thing about. I'm using OCOv2 with Robert's Male and HGEC. Pretty much everyone knows that these things are the best but don't go really well with each other. I have seen lots of topics about problems mainly about khajiits. And yes, I have read a million times that there's a texture for foot that covers entire body... :hurr: :hurr: :hurr:

But my issue isn't about female textures but about ones for males *suprise suprise*. And yes, I had exact same problem before. Didn't know how to fix it then. And I dunno how to fix it now. It looks like male khajiit is forced by game to use female khajiit texture but it fails miserably because this one is too small and here we have Half-Khajiit-Half-Imperial With Pu$$y Localised On His Hip. Quite specific kinks aren't they?

Okay. I'll be more specific and less stupid. I have attached two pictures to this thread. One of them shows the glitched character (Don't worry. I used professional methods to cover his schlong. *MS Paint*) and second one is my loadorder taken straight 'outta NMM. It's pretty short (The loadorder, lol. ), I started modding this thing a literal while ago. Not counting shown mods - I'm also using one that replaces HGEC's textures with 4k ones but thats probably unimportant. As you see - I have tried using compatibility patches and khajiit fix too.

I'm sure that this particular issue is pretty common but I cannot find any help with this one anyways. Sorry if there are lots of these and I just missed something.

THANK YOU ONE PERSON THAT READ THIS AND WANTS TO HELP!

*UPDATE*

I'm apparently dumber than I thought. I didn't try messing 'round with loadorder. But loading Robert after OCOv2 doesn't really help.

I mean - sure. Texture is fixed. But heads of both khajiits and argonians are completly messed-up. They have shapes taken from OCOv2 and vanilla textures. That looks really stupid (As you could imagine. ).

*ANOTHER UPDATE*

I have tried creating a "Bashed Patch" despite I don't have an idea, how to use that Wrye Bash. When it's enabled - both of mentioned issues are happening. So eighter I did something stupid (Again.). Or I need another way out.

OH. It worked on second try for some reason. I'm sorry. I really shouldn't use forums...

So is the problem solved now or not? Because that in the screenshot definitely is HGEC textures on a Robert's Male body alright. And this isn't really surprising when talking of Khajiiti.

-The Oblivion.esm makes it so both genders of Khajiiti use one and the same texture for their feet, the male one "textures/characters/Khajiit/male/footmale.dds".

-Exnem/HGEC doesn't come with an ESP, so it keeps that setting for the file to replace. It replaces the male Khajiit foot texture with its female full-body one.

-Robert's Male knows this and so does have an ESL making it so the male Khajiiti use a different texture file "textures/characters/Khajiit/male/RTfootmale.dds", leaving the other alone for the females to use.

Your problem now stems from conflicting plugins and wrong load orders.

As the so-called "Rule of One" defines, every plugin touching a single aspect of a certain race will introduce just about every setting regarding this race as well, thus override all previous ones. There isn't even a distinction between gender inside the regular game, a plugin changing the males will also change the females and vice versa. That's why Robert's Male plugin overrides OCO's changes to the heads and faces, like you described, and why OCO's Vanilla plugin will override the changes introduced by Robert's Male's plugin, always depending on which one loads last.

I don't remember anymore which male settings the Khajiit Fix plugin of HGEC introduced, but this one, too, will be able to conflict and undo others' changes.

That's why correct load order is so important in this game, but even with the perfect one not all conflicts will be solved already. Therefore you'll inevitably need Wrye Bash's Bashed Patch. Only with the Bashed Patch things like several plugins affecting different genders separately even became a possibility. Thanks to its Bash Tags usually found inside the conflicting mods' file descriptions, the Bashed Patch will be able to determine what kinds of settings the plugin contains and what parts of the remaining Vanilla data is negligible, so it can compile the perfect merge of all intended features while completely ignoring all unintended ones into its plugin. And as this plugin is told to always load last (with a few exceptions), it will re-introduce the perfect merge of settings even after each of their individual plugins undid the previous ones and incorporated its own in whole every time.

For what it's worth with using body replacers together with OCO2, you are specifically instructed to deactivate the body mods' own plugins. OCO2's plugin shall be the only one in use. But I'm rather sure this one won't be compatible Robert's Male's setting requirements.

There are compatibility packages in OCO2 for Robert's Male and other body replacers, but I also don't recall if those also contained plugins necessary to fix this mess.

But if the Bashed Patch is correctly configured to use only the male texture settings from Robert's Male's plugin and everything else from OCO2's, and everything else coming from body mods is disabled as instructed, it should already be on the right track. Important is the correct merge of all 3 parts' individual mandatory settings to survive your load order in the end.
