Nexus Mod manager not working

I have this issue, where I can´t log into my NMM account, beacuse it couldn´t connect with the servers. One of there reasons mentioned was, that my firewall blocked the connection, but when I gave NMM access through the firewall it still didn´t let me log in. Now I don´t know how to proceed. I can´t uninstall NMM, otherwise all mods would disappear. All ideas are welcome.

(sorry for my possibly faulty english, it isn´t my native tongue)

do you have an old version of NMM?

because this was a common error after the sever update that happened some time ago , but the newest versions of NMM should work with the new servers

so if you have anything older than 0.65.2 , you need to download a newer version of NMM (note , the update feature within NMM won't work , because you can't access the servers , so you need to manually download and install the new version)

I have NMM 0.63.14. If I would download the newer version, would my mods still be intact?

I actually do have the newest version of NMM installed and it still gives me the log in error. I can't install anything.

according to the GitHUB page , version 0.65.9 should work

but if it doesn't work , you should report your errors there , as that is where the NMM devs are

so go here https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Nexus-Mod-Manager/releases , go to the Issues tab and report your issue
