UtahNVMP Posted August 6, 2018 Share Posted August 6, 2018 I'm not sure if this is going in the right place or if this error is caused by me or by Vortex but I'm going to post the message I get here. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and restarting my computer.Despite the Vortex warning I tried running in administrator mode too, didn't help.I've also tried changing some file paths around. EDIT: I realized I should clarify this is when I am installing a MOD not Vortex itself. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Several people are having the same issue with installing CBBE and FNIS (or XP32 - I forget which). Leave that tree for Bethesda stuff.Your whole mods path is problematic.You have D:/SteamLibrary/SteamApps/Vortex/fallout4/mods/Caliente...It should be something like: D:/Vortex/Mods/Fallout4/Caliente...Keep it simple and clean - and let Vortex fill in the game name. And - I would install Caliente manually until a fix is available. It is not hard - just follow the directions on the mod page.
