NexusBull Posted August 24, 2018 Share Posted August 24, 2018 For those of us with mid/moderate systems, I was wondering if the Intro starfield could be removed. Now I know that it's just eye candy and in the background the system is busy loading graphics, sound, save files,etc. But how much quicker would it load if the loading screen would just be blank or a simple spinning cursor. On my system (as well as lots of others I imagine) the starfield is tragic as it jerks, freezes, and struggles to keep up... not fun to watch. However once I am in the game I have no lag issues on planets, warping, etc. Thanks, and please none of the typical comments of 'upgrade my system' ... not everyone has a bag full of money. Lo2k Posted October 2, 2018 Share Posted October 2, 2018 I tested this for Atlas Rises and the loading times were not improved at all, so it's better waiting with it than without.Stuttering is due to the background game computations, not to the intro itself.
