Toolset

Hello there.

So I'm very new to the DAO Toolset and I have some problems with it.

First, I had problem with database connection so I installed everything with this instructions: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/177587-toolset-help-required/
It worked quite well as Toolset even opened! Like... 3 times! On 3 seperate days. And then boom! Datase connection problem again so I went to SQL Server Configuration Manager to start SQLExpress server 'cause it didn't start and I expected it to be the solution because it worked before. But it didn't work so I started to look through files and, as I'm a noob, didn't find anything useful.
I reinstalled toolset and did everything again and stumbled against new problem being: "Test Connection failed because of an error initializing provider." when doing the thing in ConfigureToolset.exe

I will try to reinstall SQL 2008 as well but I hope it could be resolved without it 'cause I worry it will be the same: it will work a few times and then nothing, and I don't want to do reinstalls periodically when it occurs if I'm being honest.

So I came here in hope someone out there could help me.

Regards

PS I'm running on Windows 10 and I don't have toolssql\Data folder with bw_dragonage_content.mdf and bw_dragonage_content.ldf files
PS 2 DAODB\Data folder is also empty

I don't know if you've got this working yet or not and you probably already know this....but anyway....just in case you don't....

if you are using 64 bit Windows 10, the bw_dragonage_content back up file isn't going to be in C:\Program Files\ folder It's going to be in the

C:\Program Files (x86)\Dragon Age\tools\dbbak folder.

Also, it's not how it usually happens, but I have seen express assign a different name to the database other than the .\SQLExpress. It happened with a friend of mine. When she chose the off the wall database, it installed just fine. I have no idea what happened there to get that odd name, but oh well. :P

Okay... so I managed to work it somehow.

I uninstalled SQL Server 2008 (very poorly but still) and installed SQL Server 2012 and well, the Toolset started to work again. (I think it would work again on 2008 but oh well)
I'm happy for now but I'm a little worried something will break again.

If something happens I'll probably come here again.
