Are children you know, all getting signed up to be a part of Elon Musk's next generation Astronauts traveling aboard the  Starship MK1 :  Starship MK2  :  MK3?

All those rich billionaires may as well pack up their family and their companies family and go to Disney's fun house with the plans for the future he envisioned and had a model of a future city and a huge wheel shaped space living place near where the I. S. S. is in orbit.

Moonbase first, then the orbiting station. We had the technology to do this decades ago, but, we didn't. Instead, we invested in our military......

All wise home builders all have a plan for a safe haven if their house plans fail while in progress. Wasting intelligence is a common flaw in elders minds, because they did it before they were mature teen age children and continued to do it when they were and still do it as adults,

 

The eldest of our ancient races all had a back up plan.  The modern day thinkers all have one, but aren't sharing, or are just scared to.  And that is why we are all sitting around making a mess where we live instead of messing around the Moon.
