This is a list of all my mods. Before i reinstalled Windows on my Computer everything was working fine. Now i reinstalled all mods and its not working anymore. What can i do to fix it.

This is extremely interesting for me. It's the first external indication of a theory I am following for some time now.

 

First, can you tell me the following:

- How many animations does FNIS show. Or better, can you post the FNIS output?

- Which Windows do you have now? Which one did you replace.

- Did you regularly update Windows before you reinstalled?

- Do you use the SKSE memory patch (sheson's fix)?

- Do you have any indication that there is a difference when you add/remove the SKSE memory patch.

 

18 months ago I made some animation load tests, and I had no problem installing 20k animations. Provided the SKSE memory fix, no ENB, and only a small set of mods provided. And that's what I defended until recently, despite so many users claiming that the cannot load any more when having installed more than 11 to 14k animations. FNIS hadn't changed anything which could be relevant for memory consumption.

 

After all these complaints I did some more load tests recently, and I could not believe the results:

- I had the same animation limits between 12 and 14k

- SKSE memory fix didn't have any impact. So did "Crash fixes", "Load Game CTD fix", "ENBoost".

- What improved the animation count (but only for 2k) was the removal of all HDT related skeletons and mods

- What also improved slightly was the removal of all mods using FNIS Alternate Animations (like in PCEA2 or Sexy Move)

- I also went back testing with a modified FNIS 6.3 (to be able to test 20k there), but the same result. Note: SKSE hasn't changed since then.

 

My conclusion:

"Something" must have changed, either changing something in the Skyrim memory internals, or invalidate the SKSE memory fix. And for that I have no other conclusion than a change in Windows.

 

I was going to contact the SKSE guys (which seems veery hard recently). But your experience might give me some additional light.

First of all you have installed FNIS wrong. See the difference between "Generator" and "Erwarteter Generator-Pfad". You probably use MO and have not properly defined FNIS as "supported tool".

 

The SKSE memory fix ("shesons fix") is described in the FNIS FAQ under "Load CTD".

 

Try with those 2 changes. You have a number of animations which is large, including these creature and alternate animations. But it should still be possible.
