Why does every downloaded preset look f-ing horrendous?

Seriously every time i download a preset and check the requirements, the result is ugly. And there's no exeption, they're all f*#@ed up. Am I missing something ?

yea, the required mods, most likely.

 

so i am going to assume that you see a preset, looks great, you download it, and it looks much different in your own game ?

 

if that is the case, can you link me to said preset, and your mod list, so i can double check to make sure you have everything that is required.
