Tracked Mods: Allow us to categorize them

Hi,

I am tracking 9 pages worth of mods for Fallout 4 and it is quite hard to keep track of what types of mods I have already tracked and which ones I haven't (as there are many mods which do roughly the same thing).

As such, I'd welcome a feature that lets me categorize my tracked mods, so that I can quickly check each category if I'm looking for a specific mod. For example, I could use a "Vertibird" category which holds all the mods I track that are revolving around the Vertibirds in Fallout 4.

I certainly would welcome such a feature. I don't know how taxing that would be from a storage space perspective.

I would also like to add to this by asking that a "Search" function be added for tracked mods.

My tracked mods can run up to 25 pages or more, and being able to search amongst my tracked mod list would be really nice.

Also, let us sort by being able to click on the Header of each Column, so if I want to sort by CATEGORY, I click on CATEGORY and the Tracked Mod table is sorted Ascending or Descending (Depending on how many times I click) ALphabetically by Category.

Same with Last Download Date etc.

Strongly agreed with both ideas. I have tons for both Fallout 4 & SSE, I hesitate a little on adding some more since it'll clutter my Tracking list even more.

I think it might be cool to also add some things to the Updates Tab on the top bar, if it's possible:

  • Having it be viewable on a separate page perhaps for when there are many(Though if Tracking center got improvements this might be redundant perhaps)
  • A checkbox on the Updates Tab, whereby it toggles visibility of Updates for other games
  • Though HadToRegister's idea of a Search Function would solve both, where we would have options like regular mod searching as well as filtering/sorting/etc.

Thanks for your suggestions. As always, we like to hear your feedback, though it might take a while until we can get to improving the tracking centre.

The webdev team is currently busy implementing similar (and often requested) functionality for the download history (way faster load times, ability to search it etc.).
