I was playing Roguetech a lot
I had a pause of paying Battletech/Roguetech for a few months
At one point going online, Steam forced upon me Battletech update and F-ed up everything
Now, Clean uninstall, removing all stuff from all over the place, installing roguetech, again with clean uninstall option selected, to be extra careful.
Game freezes on turn 1 when enemy would need to act.
Solutions found:
- Many months ago there was a fix to select some option in game settings.
It won't work no matter what i do. Fail
- Some abilities beta from Steam - not existing - Fail

...

No other solutions.

I highly appreciate the Roguetech mods effort of the people behind it. They made an amazing update for the game, and would love to play it again, just cannot find a way past this game freeze at turn 1 of enemy AI.

I have the same problem. There's no problems on the Argo, but it freezes in combat. Not even with the task manager it can be aborted so that always a restart is necessary.
The drivers of the graphics card are up to date.
I also had Battletech checked first by Steam and after this was unsuccessful completely uninstalled, which also included the registry entries. It always freezes and nothing works anymore.
I hope someone knows a solution.
