Dessabelle Posted October 16, 2018 Share Posted October 16, 2018 I'm trying to install mods by vortex and this is a nightmare, half of the mods I used do not work properly or install.I'm testing one by one. I tried again for the 3rd time with the Caliente's Beautiful Bodies Enhancer (CBBE), and nops, no changes. Just vanilla body.The old nexus was so good and easy to use, this one is confusing and full of bugs.I'd really like to know how I make the mods work, I download as indicated, install, enable, should not it work?And I'm trying to install 1 by 1 to avoid conflicts, and few worked (The only one I remember is one that give more experience and scrap everything).Currently the only installed one I have is CBBE and it's totally not working. "" > What do you mean when you say :half of mods do not work properly or install ? Do you have the game active ? Do you have auto-deploy ON ? What happened when you click on the install or enable function ? > Can you please elaborate. What do you mean when you said : I am testing one by one ? Are you installing / enabling and playing with that one to find out if it is working in-game ? > Installing one by one to avoid conflicts ? It does not matter and by doing that is not going to avoid mod conflicts at all. If the conflict exist between mods, the only way to get rid of those conflicts is by setting up a rule between the mods that are conflicting with each other, did you know that ? Have you watched a video about it ? > Then you are saying that CBBE is the only one currently installed ... ???? I do not understand your post. You are talking about several mods installed and finally you are saying that only CBBE is your current installed mod ? CBBE is not going to work unless you install mods that depends on CBBE to properly work so in the meantime, you will only get vanilla till you download a mod that requires CBBE to work. I go draw:1) I install some mods that I used in nexus mod magers, not all, only a few, some worked, most not. So I thought, I installed a lot at the same time gave some conflict.2) I deleted all the mods and started to install by the basic, the first one I always install (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15), and yes, for God's sake, I enabled it. Don't work.3) I decided to start from scratch and do a clean installation, reinstalled the vortex, etc. (basic procedures). I installed, as I said one by one to test if they were working, as the tutorial in youtube said ( ). Some work, some not.4) Bodies Enhancer, looks menu (I have F4se), Commonwealth Cuts, some clothes mods, etc are not working. By the tutorial on youtube said: download the mod by votex on nexus page (or manual), install, enable, check load order. That's what I did, I do not know what else to do. After downloading CBBE through Vortex, installing, and enabling: how are you verifying that it is "not working"? Are you saying you go into the game, start a new game, and the bodies are still vanilla? If that is the case, could you please show us a screenshot of your mod list and your plugin list in Vortex? I know Vortex is your new go to but it is very 50/50 of when it wants to work and when it doesn't want to work. I've had issues where mods that have nothing to do with each other will break the other one after I install it. For instance. I installed Immersive weapons which has nothing to do with the body but gave me purple heads...I have around 50 or more mods installed right now and I've been trying to add more. All of a sudden the ones I've installed won't even load. I've even tried using LOOT to help me with load orders. Nothing. RambeanOfficial Posted August 3, 2019 Share Posted August 3, 2019 It's always interesting to me to see people with all these problems with Vortex, and quite frankly it seems like it almost always has to be user error. Why do I say that? Because my F04 profiles, for instance, run as many as 400 mods and I have zero issues.
