I downloaded the one click installer version from Nexus Mods site and It keeps trying to open it with Power Archiver. How do I install the damn thing? I am using Windows 7. That's what I get for not proof reading! :laugh: The typo has been fixed, but I am still having problems with installing Vortex. Damn thing just refuses to work. Still tries to open it in Power Archiver even though it is not the default program for those files. Damn .243 files!!!! :mad: I guess my problem is I have nothing that could open Vortex. I changed the name of the file from Vortex-1-0-1-6-8.243 to Vortex-1-0-1-6-8.exe and it opens! Why this stupid computer decided to download Vortex as a .243 file I have no idea. OLDER POST--------------------No it doesn't.1. Click INSTALL VORTEX button at the top of the main Nexus Page.2. Click "DOWNLOAD THE LATEST VERSION NOW" button.3. You will be brought to THIS page.4. Choose either "Vortex" or "Vortex (Custom Install Location) and click "MANUAL DOWNLOAD"5. Choose where the "Vortex-1-0-16-8.exe", or "Vortex (Custom Install Location)-1-0-16-8.exe gets downloaded.6.
