BringOnTheNuke Posted October 22, 2018 Share Posted October 22, 2018 Basically what it says on the tin- playing Fallout New Vegas and I've managed to download mods from Nexus well enough, but when I install them it gets to 99% extraction on the mod, crashes, and then when it restarts again its constantly stuck on the 99% and won't install the mod. I've just tested it with Dragon Age Origin mods and it also crashes when I try to extract mods for that and has the same issue. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm trying to replicate this in my FNV install and it worked fine, could you please tell me what anti-virus software you're using? And if possible try again with it disabled. BringOnTheNuke Posted October 23, 2018 Author Share Posted October 23, 2018 (edited) @PickySaurus, I'm using Avast and I disabled it and tried to install a mod and it crashed. I checked my queue and I had downloaded this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/65759 along side the other one, maybe its conflicting since it uses the Script Expander? @PedgeJ, yeah the message looks like that- the 'Vortex crashed' ones and the 'Extracting' message. No exception ones tho I tried uninstalling Vortex and it didn't fix it. Is there a way to scrub out all info on Vortex and all the mods?
