Nexus cant update, ok, lets go to teh site.....Vortex....install....cant get it to work.....Do I really have to manually add all my mods again? why does it not auto pick them up from a previous nexus install? chanchan05 Posted October 22, 2018 Share Posted October 22, 2018 Vortex is a completely different program. Don't bother trying to use your old NMM on it. While there is an import option, maybe like 70-90% of issues I see here stem from what happens after trying to import from NMM. So basically, start from scratch or don't move from NMM. You also have to uninstall all your mods (no need to delete unless you plan on redownloading, but make sure the mod is still available for download. some authors took their mods down) You can move your already downloaded archives, but you'll have to go through them one by one again to link them to their Nexus page by clicking their details and setting their source to Nexus inside Vortex.
