SE for 2018?

Hello all,

I've been playing SE recently and it's age has caught up to me, not just the textures, but also the animations as well, the lack of spell diversity, etc.

 

Is there a good ENB/Texture pack for the majority of the game?

 

I was also looking into body replacers, but is there one that can apply to men so there isn't a jarring difference?

 

I have a 1080 and I'm not trying to run 4K so I think I should be fine.

 

I'm looking for ways to spice up my game and I understand the NMM but I would like to go deeper with ENB and bodyslide(?) and all those good things.

Convenient Horses (best horse mod you can pass it's quest, setstage CHIntro 100 code)

 

are enough but of course you can add more mods just be careful description page what is say and dont use nmm for installing it's trash. i suggest mod organizer 2. Or you can use vortex but i dont know vortex jow to use. Check a guide.

 

2017 texture alternatives;

Noble 2k hd

 

There is no noble 2k hd sse nexus page but there is noble 2k hd sse version. Just check noble 2k hd oldrim nexus page.

 

For enb i suggest surreal enb.

 

Btw. Dont forget loot and sse edit and if you use mo2 you have to make everything on mo2 otherway mods not work. So you have to enter the game on mo2, you have to run loot on mo2, etc.

 

Note; these mods are just suggestion not install order except first three (skse64-skyui-ussep) I always install these three then install other mods.

There are also retextures of the major cities, forts, ships and much more. Search for author "luxor" to see the whole list. Definitely premium quality!

ENB and weather mods (e.g. Vivid Weathers, Climates of Tamriel, Obsidian Weathers, Rustic Weathers - to name just a few) are really a matter of personal taste. Test different combos of wather mods and ENBs and find out, what YOU like best. It's really just that: Lots of high quality options - pick your flavour...

 

Regarding male bodies:

 

"Skysight" makes the vanilla male body look really good:

IMHO the best male body replacer is "Schlongs of Skyrim" (available only from "Loverslab" - be careful: NSFW-site...)

OFC, SoS was created with all that NSFW-stuff in mind, but you can also use it as a simple and IMHO fitting body replacer.

Paired with "Vitruvia" textures (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/9112), it will give you good looking (and IMHO "lorefriendly") males.
