any way to fix it because it kind of anyiong because i use a mod the gives a merchant a very expensive potion and its kind of breake my tactic of buying this potion and then sell my own potion right back to the merchant so i get my gold back

This bug also existed in Fallout 3. ( Though it seems like it was in the 60k range that it happened in that game.) I doubt it can be easily "fixed". However, you can script a merchant's chest to remove excess gold when it gets over a certain amount.

I had this happen once. I was adding gold to them in the console and the fix was to simply remove some of it in the console. The amount that glitches is probably around 32,000 (32-bit limit), so if they have 35,000, you'd select them in the console and type removeitem f 3500 to bring them below 32,000.

I don't know if that would work in your case, since the gold will be in their chest, not on their person. You'd probably have to figure out the code for their chest and remove it from that.

I have had this problem creating merchants for cavern isles. The only way I have found to avoid it (also seems like it is around 32 to me) is either to sell them your stuff (so you get their money ) or to completely close out of the game and then go back in--this should set them to their default chest amount.

Well you think that was bad enough i created Legendary swords, bows, axes value anywhere from 100,000,000 up to 1,000,000,000 in value, and because of how i perfected Alchemy forified Enchantment pots at 7700%, so when i go to a merchant and i have 20 falmer swords each one has a value of 498,668,796 gold but the merchant only has 10500 gold, i found when i offer i want a investment 500 boaring gold, so if i ever going to finish building a high end gaming pc and download the Skyrim creation kit, you now what mod i am going to come up with a rich Arabs of Skyrim every merchant will have 1,000,000,000,000 and able to invest 1,000,000,000 i think that would be alot better.
