And it's true, yes there are. But hear me out before you shrug this off. The Basics: I am looking for a small team to help me develop this mod. I am capable of both voicing and writing, but I'm not very good at implementing things into the game beyond basic character design. Scripting, quests and such are alien to me, and would make a mod like this take even longer to do alone. The Companion Background: A lore-friendly Companion, "Aerax", is a Mazken that once served Sheogorath in Dementia. This Mazken is a male Mazken and often felt overshadowed by the superior females of his race, and after The Last Grey March, as he saw the Flame of Agnon light under the Aureal of Mania, lost all hope and fled the Dark Seducer military. Aerax saw what The Grey March had done to the fringe, and fled The Shivering Isles entirely. Aerax found himself on a small island in the sea, and swam to land. He found himself in the small, run down town of Bravil. The mortals of Bravil had never seen a Mazken before, and chased him out of town assuming he was a Daedra of Mehrunes Dagon. Aerax was alone, isolated and afraid. He felt an overwhelming sense of regret for abandoning the land he was born on. In seeking forgiveness, he located The Shrine of Sheogorath in Cyrodiil, and soon found himself performing an odd task for Sheogorath, bringing about the K'Sharra prophecy for a small village. Sheogorath offered Aerax a chance to return to The Shivering Isles, but Aerax declined, having seen the fun he could have on Nirn, he only asked for forgiveness, and the power to carry out tasks for Sheogorath on Nirn for eternity. Sheogorath agreed, and blessed him with the Wabbajack. Aerax continues to spend his life causing mayhem for Tamriel, and recently found himself in the cold land of Skyrim.... Personality/Appearance: Aerax is, by his nature, extremely seductive and sexual. Aerax is flamboyant, homosexual (or bi-sexual if we want to include female characters) and sassy, yet carries himself with the grace and pride of an Altmer. Aerax is cheerful, often making very rude jokes and laughing at the worst of times. Aerax looks down on mortals, but actually enjoys their company, so he can feel intelligent by comparison. Aerax finds the Civil War stupid, particularly as he doesn't understand why either side cares about Talos so much. Aerax is old, but bares no wrinkles, and in fact looks young as though he had just reached the age of 20. Aerax is one of the lighter skinned Mazken, but still has a blue/purple hue. Aerax is not very muscular, he is thin and slender. Aerax has medium length black hair, with a swept fringe. Aerax has no facial hair. Aerax is frighteningly tall, and continues to wear his Dark Seducer uniform. Aerax has a sexy, suave voice, with a posh overtone. Summary: As you can see, a lot of thought has gone into developing this character. I have the writing, a lot of quests in mind, and I mostly need help bringing my voice and thoughts from my mind and into this game as a playable mod to rival many of the top companion mods. I hope you will consider helping me fulfil this request, and I look forward to working with you.
