So ive been trying to replay fallout nv on a fresh install, got all the mods n what'not functioning and none of them are conflicting that's all fine and dandy, or as far as i can tell anyway...

Sometimes the game will randomly CTD with no error mssg, or ill notice the audio will randomly cut out followed by a CTD, again no error mssg.

Im not sure what to do at this point lol, i have the 4GB patch installed, i have NVAC installed (even tried editing the .EXE itself to run on more than 2GB of ram but steam was like "naw fam, dis s#*! dont match up with what we got, DENIED"

the list of mods i have are:

  • FlashlightNVSE V1.22
  • Project Nevada V2.5
  • MCM V1.5
  • UIO V1.31
  • AKS74U V1.1.0
  • Better Crpsshair V2
  • Bullpup Weapons Pack V1.1.0
  • ILove3rdPersonCamera V1.0.0
  • JIP LN NVSE plugin
  • Leveled List Item Corrections V0.1.0
  • M37 Ithaca V1.1.0
  • NVSR V4.1.36
  • Saiga12 V1.0.0
  • T6M Female PowerArmor NV V1.0.0
  • Unofficial Patch Plus V2.4.0
  • using console commands doesn't disable achievements V1.0
  • Vortex Archive invalidation
  • YUP Base and all DLC

I have Cleaned with loot, NVEditor, and double checked the load order, nothing seems to be wrong with anything yet the CTD's proceed

We REALLY need to see your sorted "load order" as produced by "LOOT"; to include the main game and DLC files. With modded games its the sequence, not merely the list of mods, which is the cause of many problems. LOOT's sort gives a good first approximation, correcting the most obvious issues and is sufficient for most players. You can make minor adjustments to the order and tell LOOT how to remember them. It's in the documentation under "Metadata". Instructions on how to copy it's list for posting are in the "How to ask for help" article, and "Checklist Item #11' entry in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide.

Please see the 'Vanilla "Load Order"' entry in the 'First Timer Advice' section; and 'Common Game Problems' section, of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article.

As you have installed NVSR, please see the 'Issue: CTD after 10-20 minutes of play (post-Win10 2017 FCU)' and 'Issue: CTD without warning, "Out of Memory error", or stops responding after the Main Menu' entries in the 'Solutions to "Crash To Desktop" (CTD) problems' section in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide. These are most likely the causes behind behind your random CTDS.

For your audio problems, if the above don't resolve things see the "Issue: SOUND -" entries in the 'Solutions to Performance problems' section of that same article.

I recommend you read the entire "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article to understand the differences between this game and others you may have experience with; especially if this is your first attempt to mod FNV.
