Skyrim: Special Edition playing problems

Hey guys!
I have spent the last two days on cleaning up on my old laptop, so that I would finally be able to play Skyrim SE. I bought the game a couple of months ago, before I knew that it wouldn't work on my Macbook Pro.
Since then, I have been wanting to play Skyrim, which was why I recently started trying to make it possible. (I'm playing through Steam)
After trying a lot of different approaches such as making my Macbook run it anyways, reviving my MSI laptop, setting Skyrim to lowest graphics, downloading stuff to make the Skyrim graphics even lower, downloading mods that are supposed to make it run smoother, I have finally reached the sad conclusion, that my current MSI laptop cannot run Skyrim SE in it's current state.
I can't get the FPS to go beyond 15 when I play the game.

I used to play Skyrim on this laptop once, but it was a cracked version downloaded in 2013.
Is Skyrim SE simply a lot more demanding or have my laptop gotten infested with vira and other ugly stuff though the years?

I feel that the only thing left to do is wiping my laptop completely and installing a new windows.
BUT before I do this, I should really make sure that my laptop actually has specs capable of running the game. Unfortunately I don't know anything about specs and requirements, so I was hoping you could help.

Specs:
Processor: Intel® Core i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M
Video Card #2: Intel® HD Graphics 4000
RAM: 6.0 GB
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit

I really hope you can help, because I have sincere Skyrim-cravings <3

I am sure you did this, but I have had a few on-line friends that finally admitted they did not check the Min-Requirements for Skyrim SE.

And here are the minimum specs for the Special Edition, via Bethesda:
Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit Version)
Intel i5-750/AMD Phenom II X4-945.
8GB of ram. -
* 8 is actually just to run Skyrim SE without mods and such. Just to run the base game.
12 GB free HDD space
NVIDIA GTX 470 1GB /AMD HD 7870 2GB
* 2 GB is also just base game. If you do any ENB's or mods that up the visual of in game items. You ARE going to need more.
