Correct Load Order for the Following Mods...

Hi there,

I've been having some trouble getting some mods to work together using Vortex, this is actually my first time using Vortex as I haven't played Skyrim in a while.

The mods I'm struggling with:

  • HDT Physics Extensions
  • CBBE body
  • whatever armour replacers you have (this one doesn't matter as much, but is best here)
  • any animation mods you have
  • Realistic ragdolls and force
  • XP32 maximum skeleton extended

^ That was the load order from this post on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/2pj5y5/helphaving_problems_with_nude_cbbe_body_and_hdt/ ^

However it doesn't seem to be working anymore.

EDIT: I'm also using HDT Breast and Butt Physics as HDT Physics Extensions is just a patch.

While wearing armour, the body works but the physics do not; but while nude, both the body and physics don't work.

If I'm right, XP32 already contains Realistic ragdolls and force, so I tried without that, but to no avail.

Any help?

Thank you.

After some more testing, I feel like HDT Physics is the only mod not working. The armour replacer works, as does the body mod; I'm not actually sure if XP32 is working, because I don't think it's changes are visual. But no matter what combinations of mods I use, in whatever load order, there's no physics applied to the character.

Okay, so after further testing, I've concluded that HDT is working; I tested this by installing KS Hairdos HDT Version in which the hair is being affected by physics. CBBE is also working as the curvature and textures are being applied to the body; however, they're just not working together for some reason.

Is there something I'm missing?

I do not, I thought that is just a tool used for altering the shape of the body and armours; I had it a long while ago while using the aforementioned mod list, but I've never actually used it, just had it installed.

Your problem is a BodySlide issue and not a Vortex issue. You will need to install and use BodySlide in conjunction with CBBE to get the results you want. Use Vortex to install BodySlide. Click on the this link to find out how to set up BodySlide as a Vortex tool: https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Tool_Setup:_BodySlide_and_Outfit_Studio.

If you need help navigating BodySlide, google it. This is a well documented mod with an abundance of tutorials, videos, etc.

@ OP .... this is a forum for Vortex not for any game out there. Why don't you post your question in the game forum related to ?

Did you read the mods descriptions / installation for every single mod that you are listing in your post ? Apparently not, because there is all the information that you need but if you need some extra help, did you ask your question in the mod post ? There are a lot of users that most likely asked your same question before, so the answer that you are looking for should be there.

Last but not the least, with Vortex is does not matter which mod you download first. If there are conflicts between the mods that you installed, Vortex will prompt you to resolve such conflicts and be done with it. Again, if you want to follow the old school downloading / installing rules, go ahead but ask that question in the proper forum and you will get your answer.

I have the CBBE, XP32 and the Body Slide in my game and I have no issues at all.
