Vortex is not installing or loading, Help me please!

I downloaded the one-click installer for vortex but after clicking it to start installation all I see is the logo and nothing loads ,then I tried it with the custom installer but same result: if I hover the mouse over it, it just shows the loading circle spinning.
I waited over an hour and it still kept spinning and nothing loaded.

 

I don't want to play vanilla fallout 4 because I want more companions at the same time namely the dog so I am trying hard to solve this issue but I don't know what to do as I always used NMM before for Skyrim on my old rig.

It might help if you tell us what operating system you are using, and if it is English or something else.

I don't know if the installer has any special pre-reqs, but someone else might know. Sounds kind of like a missing Microsoft redistributable.

Something else you might try - right click on the installer package and say "run as Administrator".
