Looped dialogue

In the last mission when Shepard taks with a kid I can't end dialogue. It's looped, I can't do anything, they have like 5 sentences and the keep talking over and over.

Anyone have had bug like this? I have few mods:

-ark mod

-expanded galaxy mod

-omega hub alpha

-spectre expansion mod

-sp controller support

-priority earth overhaul mod

Still doesn't work :(.

It looks like this:

 

Shepard: But you're taking away our future. Without a future, we have no hope
Shepard: Without hope... we might as well be machines programmed to do what we're told.
Child: You have hope. More than you think.
Child: The fact that you are standing here, the first organic ever, proves it.
Child: But it also proves my solution won't work anymore.
Shepard: So now what?
Child: We find a new solution.
Shepard: Why are you telling me this? Why help me?
Child: You have altered the variables.
Shepard: What do you mean?
Child: The Crucible changed me, created new possibilities. But I can't make them happen.
Child: And I won't.
Shepard: Make what happen?
Child: what you came here to do.
Child: You want to destroy us.
Shepard: But you're taking away our future. Without a future, we have no hope <--- and here it loops obviously :P.
I don't know what's going on. Maybe that's how it works if Shepard is low on paragon or something like that. Strange.

You should have specify that that was starchild/catalyst ending dialog. In this case:

- load the nearest savegame;

- use console command:

savegame Any_name

to manually save before TIM confrontation; > exit game;

- disable all content/story DLC in ME3 MM:

Restore > Custom dlc manager > click on mod to disable it, click again to enable;

- load the savegame.


> mod files that related to ending start with:

BioD_End ... .pcc


Or just download MEHEM and get on with it :wink:

Did you install the EGM patch for PEOM? If not, do that.

 

If you did already, try disabling the mods one at a time. I would try PEOM first since I think it's the newest, by putting an underscore in front of the DLC folder name, startup the game, and see if you can continue. If not, enable PEOM again and then try a different mod to see if you can get it to work.

OK.

Disabling mods doesn't change anything. Maybe it is important to load save before starting Cerberus HQ attack?

Right now I installed MEHEM and it says that I have to start from that mission, so right now I will try to end this game once and for all but with MEHEM as I mentioned :P.

So I hope there won't be any looped catalyst dialog because... readme says that it removes the catalyst scene :P.

I think that's all...

I guess the kid wasn't wrong saying you had no future and then you can't continue eh?

Heh. No doubt. That would be a hilarious (not really) mod to intentionally make. :wink:

 

@Newfolder88 I typically find that firing up MEHEM during the beam run or even the chapter save before going up the beam to the Citadel does work well enough. Not recommended officially but I did that a lot during testing.
