straycat58 Posted January 3, 2019 Share Posted January 3, 2019 I've done a fresh install of FO4 & NMM 6 days ago. Before I started this nightmare I researched all my mods and believe I am installing them in the best order possible. Everything was going good until I installed Ext. Settlement Supplies/Keywords. Then Spring Cleaning quit working as well as Fixed Sanctuary Roofs. PLUS almost every menu item has nothing in it or many items are missing or there is just no menu at all. These are the 25th mod installed in this installation so I don't have very much there yet, but since so many mods are dependent on this one I need to get it out of the way early on. I do have SMM installed before these. What am I missing here? BTW-I did try a Vortex install, but just about every mod came up as not being packaged correctly or some other install error. So I went back to NMM. I just wanna play my game again. See my topic tags for affected items along with those I mentioned. F4SE, FO4Edit, Place in Red were the first items installed. Have you enabled mods (bellow is copied from a f04 wiki) How to enable modding Navigate to your Fallout 4 Folder at the following location "Documents\My Games\Fallout4" Within this folder you'll find a number of .ini files. Open (or create, if missing) Fallout4Custom.ini with your favourite text editor (we use Notepad++). Add the following lines to your Fallout4Custom.ini [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal= Save and close Fallout4Custom.ini Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
straycat58 Posted January 4, 2019 Author Share Posted January 4, 2019 Thanks. I have modified the Fallout4Custom.ini file to enable mods. Loot tells me everything is AOK with the exception of Farming Resources patch for Workshop rearranged, says it's not installed. I am really getting frustrated here. I have no items in my SKE menu except a few oddball. Renovated items are just not showing up period along with a few other deco and build mods. Undeadbob666 Posted January 4, 2019 Share Posted January 4, 2019 Usually loot will tell you how to fix that, however in most cases I'm like "yeah but I really have to finish building this rocket ship," because its beyond my ability to comprehend lol.
