Why my download limit is 128kb/s?

At first, I downloaded some mods, and my download speed limit through Vortex was 1mb/s.

 

But after downloading several mods, my download speed limit dropped to 128kb/s and now i am downloading with <16kb/s.

 

Is there a way to increase the download speed ?

 

Is it a server issue ?

 

Change server or something? (and if so, how can i change server ?)

 

Any advice will be helpful.

server change and increasing default download speed above 1mb/s is a premium thing. However there seems to be currently a whole server issue with Nexus themselves, a lot of people including premiums have been getting vastly reduced speeds. I believe it is not a permanent thing and may jsut be server load/stress due to the festive period finishing and people with new games looking at new mods etc
