derpyderp44 Posted January 6, 2019 Share Posted January 6, 2019 i'm trying to do a kill everything run fallout new vegas. just one small problem i've run into. there are essential npcs, i cannot kill them. if someone could create a mod that makes to npc essential, then please. and if you know of a mod that does this, please link it to me. Radioactivelad Posted January 6, 2019 Share Posted January 6, 2019 The only NPCs that are essential in the Vanilla game are Companions (When they're following you, and Hardcore mode is inactive) and Yes Man, as he is the failsafe for the MQ. madmongo Posted January 7, 2019 Share Posted January 7, 2019 Children are flagged as essential. There is a mod called Killable Children (or something like that - I've never actually used it) that you can use to change this. The Vendor-Tron at the Gun Runners also can't be killed, but I'm not sure if he's actually flagged as essential or if you just can't get to him or shoot him because he's stuck inside that enclosure.
