JerryGodStomper Posted January 8, 2019 Share Posted January 8, 2019 Hey, So i am in the process of modding fallout 3 GOTY's visuals for a new playthru but after installing and applying all my mods the game won't launch using the in app launcher in vortex. I have no problems with fallout 4 and ESO but can't seem to get fallout 3 working. If anyone has any solutions please let me know. Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
diemensionx Posted June 8, 2019 Share Posted June 8, 2019 my problem was the other way round, was told it install games for window and that didn't work, cant launch from desktop, mine only launches through vortex, haven't enabled any mods yet though. rmm200 Posted June 8, 2019 Share Posted June 8, 2019 It can be easier to debug if you remove Vortex from the picture. Install your mods using Vortex and Deploy. Stop Vortex..Vortex does not need to be running when you launch Fallout 3 - or any game.If it runs launching it directly from the game directory, you gave Vortex an incorrect path for launch.
