question about adding code to a mod description

I couldn't find an appropriate forum thread o post this question on, i hope i have the right one as this was the only one that said you could ask for help and advice. I would like to add a banner of my username that is linked to my nexus mod page to thre mod description area of my first and only mod so far but I am having trouble getting the code to work. Is this even possible to do and if so what format should I be using? I am new to all this so any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm not too great with code.

The description page supports bbcode, as I recall, there is a button in the upper right of the data entry panel that says "bbcode", or some such, and then you can just add your tags, or whatever. Another option would be to use something like Notepad ++ to write your description, including the code.... and then just copy paste into the description window. (in bbcode mode most likely)
