Help? I don't know the search term but I'm sure it exists?

This is basically it. I need to find a mod that allows me to remap the menu game controller buttons seperately, or simply switches it so that (I'm using a third party controller with PS3 controls instead of xbox) the X key can be used to confirm instead of having to use the square. It's doing this because I remapped the buttons, but I remapped the buttons on PS3 and never had this problem. I saw a fix for this for Skyrim Special Edition so I know I'm not the only one to notice, but I can't seem to find it for Skyrim Legendary edition (just the regular skyrim "oldrim"???)

Please help

Use "ps3" or "playstation" for the search terms - there's like six different mods that change the icons. All they do is just that - change the X icon to a Square or whatever. To get the controller to work in general, you need third party software - several of the icon mods recommend something called "MotionInJoy DS3 Tool."

Kay so I know that far.... however that's not what I'm looking for. Basically it's like this. On PS3 I remapped some buttons and it changed those buttons... but ONLY in combat, not the MENUS as well. The problem is that when it remaps the keys in the menus somehow some s#*! is getting all messed up. Like I can't "Take all" when looting something, none of the buttons work to do so. Every time I try to equip a weapon (by pressing the X or square buttons) it also favorites it, and trying to favorite a weapon makes it drop. This is not a controller problem, I promise, I actually have a third party controller that I bought specifically to work with PC that works 100 % like an xbox controller (the only differences is that visually the buttons are a PS3 Layout)
