hi, i have steam and vortex installed in my D: drive.

for some reason, it says it cant deploy and it just gives me a list of deployment methods which two don't work i guess and the other is experimental?

So im kinda stuck trying to figure it out .
WHY cant i figure it out? I really want to use this manager, ive watched youtube vids on its installation and it opens up fine and downloads mods okay but i keep getting the deployment error.

Do you have the mod staging folder and the game folder on the same drive partition? If so, have you selected "Hardlink Deployment" as the deployment method?

The list of deployment methods that Vortex gives you in the popup, clearly, and specifically says what you need to do in order to use each of the deployment methods, it also lets you know that certain games (Bethesda games) don't work with certain deployment methods.

All of the information you need to fix the problem is given to you right in the Deployment Method Popup

I'm just briefly repeating what the more detailed Deployment Method popup basically says

Hardlink requires the mod staging folder be on the same hard drive as the game - so go into settings and change the location of your mod staging folder
Symlink Bethesda games won't work with Symlinks
Move Deployment mod staging folder must be on same drive as game folder, doesn't work with all games - go into settings and change the location of your mod staging folder

I have made a new folder and set it as the staging folder in my D: drive, its in the same place where my games are.I dont know if its freaking out because i have two steam locations on my drive but i had added both locations for vortex to search in for games

it still gives me the error.
