There's another useless update to Fallout 4 from the company we all love & hate simultaneously. I actually am not aware of what the update attempts to fix besides anything to do with more micropuchases in the Creation Club: ALL I KNOW IS THAT EVERY TIME FO4 GET'S AN UPDATE, THE F4SE TEAM HAS TO UPDATE F4SE AGAIN, & THE GAME NO LONGER WORKS AS WE WANT IT TO UNTIL F4SE IS ALSO UPDATED! Which sometimes can take them almost a year to get around to doing! I am still running FO4 version 1.10.120.0 with the FO4 Auto Update set to only update on game launch. Well with F4SE you don't actually "Launch" FO4 so it's supposed to bypass all this crap! Well low & behold my game will not start from the F4SE Loader/Launcher, & even though I'm still running F04 V. 1.10.120.0 & Steam is in OFFLINE MODE F4SE still won't launch! THANKS AGAIN BETHESDA! sensei23 Posted January 30, 2019 Share Posted January 30, 2019 It is tiresome to say the least. It is interesting this time that f4se just crashes to desktop without any error messages. I usually the get the release number compatibility message, but this time it does not even get that far. A big shout out to the f4se team that puts up with this crap and keeps us going! But thanks for the headsup, I made sure I have a backup of 120. And if they didn't provide Updates you would complain about that. There's just no pleasing some people. Get over it. The Rabbit In case you actually don't know what you are talking about, instead of mindlessly trolling: these are, in fact, useless updates. They do not fix any bugs whatsoever, instead they are purely to add features for paid mods. If they were to actually fix bugs (like the script property limit, or the blackface bug, or the ESL precomb bug, or any of the numerous quest bugs at least), THEN I wouldn't be complaining. The RabbitExcuse me?! Exactly what do you need to be updated in the Fallout 4 game software? You do realize that Bethesda is not providing any game fixes or updates? The updates simply support their mods for sale.
