"You haven't downloaded this mod yet" error

@axonis - we had a sitewide problem yesterday at the time you posted this that resulted in all infrastructure being restated - this would have likely caused this problem briefly.

@MarkusTay / @ThelebKaarna - Are you able to provide us any more information on this please.

1) How did you download these mods ? (Vortex/Site)

2) Were these new downloads, or updates to previous downloads ?

3) Where are you trying to endorse these mods ?

4) Are the mods showing up in your download history ( https://www.nexusmods.com/users/myaccount?tab=download+history ) ?

Absolutely!

1) As with 99% of my mods for the past 8 months, via the "Mod Manager Download" button on the Nexus mod's file tab. Using the latest version of Vortex.

2) New downloads, pretty sure for all of them(?). It's possible (though I don't think so) that I didn't try to endorse right-away and got an update in there first. I know this is definitely not the case for all but a couple of them.

3) First through Vortex, then directly on the mod's Nexus page (no success either way).

4) Nope. But I remember downloading them. They're enabled in Vortex. They're present in-game.

So far I've only used Vortex to mod Skyrim SE, having 477 mods/291 plugins. A couple examples of offending mods for me are "The Hideaway - A Buildable Cave Home": https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/10649 and "Immersive Wenches": https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/595

I will attempt to redownload (via "Mod Manager Download") these two into Vortex and post back if this corrects the issue.

Results: Issue corrected for both mods by redownloading.

I didn't have to install either of the two new downloads, just wait the 15 minutes, endorse, then delete the unused archive.

According to Vortex, the 2 offending mods in question were originally downloaded "1 Month Ago" & "2 Months Ago" respectively. Also I've downloaded a ton of other mods since then and have been able to endorse all of them just fine. I'm guessing for the offending mods some hick-up occurred at the original time of download and they somehow didn't register on The Nexus?

I have the same issue. Out of 179 mods 33 are not able to be endorsed. Even though all of the information is there and the nexus link works I would think that there would be a way to force the app to accept that the mod was downloaded. Somehow "check the box" automatically upon noticing the info, so that it will fix itself.
