[1]21.1[47]

Tired of looking at the growing pile of electric toasters, coming in from all sorts of places, 3Dog went to the barely organised chamber that was kindly called the library study. It was an amazing mishmash of furniture, fittings and decorations of both Postdoomsday and Predoomsday. Some was repaired Predoomsday stuff.

Thus it was that he was studying a mildly damaged poprock magazine, Predoomsday of course, when 3Kitty called him. Four dogs raced down the hallway, followed by three cats, in very excited states as they passed the open doorway of the room that he was in.

3Dog got to the main chambers in time to find 3Kitty, his gorgeous female companion, talking with a floating baby figure in a coveralls like outfit.

The other sight to attract his attention was the rainbow coloured-patterned exotic hybrid of machine-furniture that was now where the stack of toasters had been. It was an amazing mixture of cupboards, including doored cubicles, shelves, spigots, a kitchenette, a desk with multiple small drawers now closed, a book shelf of sorts, chutes, buttons, leavers, mirrors, light fixtures and much else. Somehow he found himself knowing that the rainbow coloured baby figure had created it so as to both please and to assist the station and its people.

Monocoloured floating babies floated around the mechanism, sometimes going into small cubicles or coming out of them.

A very small train ran along a train track inside a transparent tube, coming out through one doorway and then into another as it pulled behind itself a variety of carriages.

3Dog smiled. “A very good addition to the radio studio. May I know who are our visitors are?”

3Kitty responded, turning to 3Dog as she held the rainbow coloured small one in her arms. “It does, according to our old friend BabyDJ, lots and lots of things. It has toilet cubicles, shower cubicles, storage spaces, dispensers, duplicators and much else including a special computer that controls it. It is the RainbowThingy.”

3Dog nodded. “Excellent name! Does it make coffee?”

The RainbowThingy did make coffee but adjustments had to be made, by the computer in consultation with 3Dog, to make it drinkable. After some more adjusting, they were eating eggbars, baconsticks and breadbiscuits while drinking coffee. All of it was not the real thing but very good tasting. The cats, and dogs, joined the feast happily enough.

It was evident that the RainbowThingy could-would do far more than provide meals.

Dates, of the Great War, changed to the start at 1911 and its ending on Warday in 2011. Both the original declaration of war, between human factions, and the ending with Warday were on the 11th day of the 11th month.

[1]22.1[48]

The TeamOmans would not be leaving BaseOman until they regained full strength, as 13 individuals, and went through healing processes. They would also need to further explore BaseOman and uncover more mysteries.

The Rainbowsessbaby would be all there for it was revealed that SteelBaby, BabyDJ, BabyOman and other emerging variations were secondary avatars of Rainbowsessbaby. BabyOman would be remaining with the TeamOmans but already LyonsPride and the DCRegulators were planning departure to carry out special tasks but also to carry out regular duties.

BabyDJ was the only RainbowAvatar outside of BaseOman and yet she was far from isolated from Rainbowsessbaby.

TeamOmans were finding themselves to be more at peace, feeling more secure, than they had been for a very long time. Indeed they had not realised how bad they had gotten until they had begun to feel better; the realisation was a shock to them as much as other hard discoveries that they had made.

[1]23.1[49]

It swirled almost solid, almost visible, along the great straight tunnel having escaped from BaseOman where it had been trapped. With the Greyzentaze entity ran JestorOtaze, and JeckleOtaze, dark traitors to TeamOman and now twisted followers of the Greyzentaze, hence the change in their names. Their use of the word 'taze' truly did not impress the greytech created abomination but it acted if that was the case for it needed them as much as they needed it; it wondered who would be the first to turn upon the other, itself or the pair of former humans.

The Greyzentaze was a very dangerous aspect of the SecretOsoThreat but not the only one in the DCWastelands or on-in that poor Wasteworld. They were on their way to meet another aspect more dangerous than the Greyzentaze which was something that neither JeckleOtaze, or JestorOtaze, knew which pleased amused Greyzentaze for the arrogant pair were in for a shock.

Accidentally twice posted the same episode but then replaced the second posting, above, with a new different one.

[1]24.1[50]

LyonsPride was teleported to the NewPentagon that SteelFollowers were still moving into. The heavily fortified, autorobotic, structure had successfully resisted previous attempts to occupy it but a mysterious benefactor had made contact with the SteelBrotherhood moving eastwards and had made a deal too good to reject. Thus the SteelBrotherhood was able to go into, with out resistance, what would become the SteelCitidelDC.

Sarah Lyons reported to her father and had a private discussion with him despite that he was very busy; thus she spoke of her strange experiences and what she had learned though not all of it thanks to severe limits to what knowledge she had gained.

Elder Owen Lyons had a thick printout report before himself including writing, 2Dphotos, diagrams and maps. He had breezed through it but had managed to learn much just by doing so. They sat at his large but very functional armoured metal desk designed to protect him in various ways, most being hidden.

Owen spoke. “The newly renamed DCSB (DC SteelBrotherhood) has much to do, and limited resources to do it, with out taking on new tasks. Having said that, the DCSB could determine to deal with this OsoThreat if we encounter it. It would be easier to convince the CEC (Central Elder Council) to assist if they were given incentive to do so such as advanced technologies, more information about DC and new, useful, alliances even with those less scitech advanced than ourselves.”

Sarah frowned. “Though most of the CEC Elders are flexible minded, positively progressive, there are some true fools there; why did they even bother to come east?”

Owen sighed. “Three are but political fools while four are here because Preplanned treachery but I need more evidence before I can get the CEC to eject them from the council let alone the actual brotherhood. Getting them convicted would most likely go with getting them thrown out of our faction but they might even end up as convicts or being executed.”

Eighteen armoured-armed airships, 12 airboats, and a single even more advanced aeroship, had arrived with the great expedition along with eight long range vertiships being oversized vertibirds. The aeroship had been provided by the mysterious benefactor complete with many stored resources, robots, androids and other directly useful resources. Yet LyonsPride had arrived before the main fleet, in an advance air squadron, to begin its early scouting mission; other units had also come early to carry out their own missions.

Owen promised he would reread the report and get back to her as soon as possible; she knew he would do his best but feared that he might not get the time to do so. She returned to the other Pridetroopers, including SteelBaby, to discuss matters with them. Yet there were a handful of others that she also needed to meet with.
