PS4 Skyrim No Mods - Can only load autosaves.

Exactly what the title says. I have no mods running, but the game will only load autosaves; I can't quick-save or full-save. The game was fine last night. Dunno what happened. I tried creating a new save in case the existing full-save was corrupted, but it said there was no room; so I deleted the quick-save to create a new full-save, but it still wouldn't let me save. The autosaves themselves are working just fine, so I deleted the existing full-save to create a new one - still to no avail.

At least I can play with autosaves, but that's more than a little risky. I've loaded autosaves before to the tune of me getting instakilled repeatedly, so quick-saves and full-saves are essential. But suddenly, they don't work.

Any known solutions?

ADDENDUM

Okay: I've just started a new game (again, no mods) after deleting a couple of old characters (about 10+ save files in total, including autosaves). I seem to be able to full-save just fine on the new character. But is there a way to fix my other game?
