Mod Author Gone since 2012

Hello

I had gone to the extent of making a Skyrim Voice Replacer compatible with Enderal.
I would love to upload it so I can save other from having to sit with the throw up grunt.

I ended up posting a guide on how players can do this themselves with any voice replacer to bypass uploading it

Is that a problem for mod authors?

If so I would like to know so I can remove the guide I posted here:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1661169620

Is sharing my adaptation of the file personally to a single persons who come to me for it a problem?
If so, I can stop doing that too.
I just need to know this so I can change my guide accordingly.

I want to upload this to nexus and have already asked the mod author for permission.
However the Mod Author hasn't been active since 2012 so I doubt I will hear a reply.

I would like the opinion of modders so I can do this properly.
I only want to save players form the female throw up grunts in Enderal.

Thank you for reading and I hope I didn't do anything wrong.
Once I hear word on this topic I will follow accordingly.

So I'm guessing the no replies to my post means I did nothing wrong,

and all this flak I've been getting over my guide saying that I stole someone elses content is literally nothing...?

Okay then. My guide stays up until I hear otherwise.

If anyone else finds my guide useful, Then you're welcome. o-o

This will be the last time I check other peoples opinion on this topic.

I gave more then enough time for someone to put in their two cents.

So unless I hear from the mod author themselves, I am not removing the guide.

And the Enderal Dev who say I stole someone's mod can kiss my hind side.

From a copyright law perspective, you should be able to post a guide how to use a mod without permission, but you can't change, or modify, or redistribute the work of the original author, nor make any financial gain from such a work without express written consent (ie how Prima makes and sells video game guides).
