Missing Meshes on Morrowind Rebirth

There's several other topics like this, but I haven't been able to make any sense of them, as my problem seems much more sporadic.

I will occassionally get missing mesh wanings, with the big yellow exclamation boxes; mostly I've ignored them, since they were centered around Telavanni specific items; however, now the Mournhold Guard Shields are not working. I checked, and saw the mesh files in the folders were there. I added the archive 2 and 3 items to both the Morrowind.ini files (BAKED and BASE). This has still not mitigated the problem. I'm not sure what I've done wrong here, either during install or after, but I'd like to continue playing this mod, as I love it.

I have Windows 10, and have not installed any other mods to Morrowind.

Thanks, and I hope there's something I'm missing here!

(I am completely clueless when it comes to modding, etc., so please be gentle)

Where did you installed Morrowind? Was it in the UAC-protected C:\Program Files(x86) folder?

If it's then reinstall Morrowind outside of the UAC-protected folder, otherwise some mods or mod tools won't properly due to UAC in Windows.

As for getting big yellow exclamation boxes often means the meshes for a mod, only meshes in a BSA (Bethesda Softworks Archive), will not appear in-game and that has to do with a BSA that hasn't been properly registered in the Morrowind.ini file.

I know this BSA tool is reliable while other people still use the original BSA tool, which has been reported for not register a certain BSA correctly and the Tamriel Rebuilt mod is one mod that's affected by the old BSA tool.

So I downloaded the BSA tool, and it shows both Tribunal and Bloodmoon registered properly. Should there be one for the mod?

Is there a BSA file in the Rebirth archive you downloaded? That'll answer your question

<snip>

I added the archive 2 and 3 items to both the Morrowind.ini files (BAKED and BASE).

What does this mean? What are the Baked and Base versions of morrowind.ini?
