SSE Logical, Lore Friendly Scroll Crafting Idea

Hello Mod Authors! I've had an idea for a way to craft scrolls in a way that actually makes sense, and is still lore friendly... but I lack even a shred of the talent necessary to make it myself.

 

Essentially, it would add a "Scribe's Desk" furniture item and "Arcane Ink" misc item to the game. From the desk you could use the ingredients "arcane ink," "quill," and "roll of paper" to craft a Prepared [school of Magic] Scroll." Then, if you place the scroll into the desk, it appears as an immovable unrolled scroll on the top of the desk with a glowing rune on it. Then the player character would have to cast a spell AT THE SCROLL. Instead of the spell effect occurring, the "absorb dragon soul" visual effect would trigger from the player character to the scroll (but only if the spell was cast while the reticle pointed at the scroll). It would then turn it into a scroll of that spell and could be collected from the top of the desk. And if you tried to cast a spell from the wrong school onto the prepared scroll, it would just burn up and you would lose the scroll.

 

Is this even remotely doable, or am I just having a pipe-dream?

Almost anything is doable, even though it's far beyond my capabilities. I believe there is already a writing animation (King in Rags) in the vanilla game, and there are mods out there which allow you to burn things out of existence. Hopefully someone with the talent will have their interest piqued. I'd love to be able to write and sell scrolls, or equip my followers with them. Drop a few flame atronach scrolls off in Shor's Stone, in case the spiders come back.
