Hello I have a problem, when I open skyrim and load a game it crashes with error in my Mod Organizer saying "There are files in your overwrite folder" and when i open overwrite i see SKSE folder and i dont know what to do, i created a new mod and the file went inside there and it was fine for a while and now i cannot load my save because of this and i have tried a lot of stuff like: Deleting the SKSE folder, creating a new mod folder called SKSE Patch, creating new folders to replace the overwrite but nothing happened, the SKSE folder kept coming back inside the overwrite and I will just add that my skyrim is heavily modded contains more than 200 mods and i have a lot of problems but i managed to fix them but this one is annoying in particual because i cannot enter the main game and play. please help and thank you

It is very possible that your save game is corrupted. Try loading an earlier save, if you have one. You can also try using one of the save game cleaners found in the Utilities section of Skyrim mods. Completely reinstall SKSE and then don't mess with its folders again. If none of these things work, then you'll simply have to start over. I know how disheartening that can be, but it's all you can do.

One more thing, use the Verify Game Cache feature on Steam to make sure that the base game files are good.

The skse file in overwrite was generated in game from a mod that is an skse plugin mod. When you open overwrite folder expand the skse file and you should know from that what mod you need to drag and drop that file into. You don't have/need to create mods from those, i don't. send that file home, it has a mod its attached to all ready

its sounds like your new mods that you created, with said function, has got you sideways. If you still looking for MO advice let me know.

Thanks! It fixed the overwrite folder but I have 2 more issues. 1. the wagon in the intro scene is possessed, literally. It's going left right up down and it won't let me into helgen so I am stuck on the intro scene forever. 2. I get a crash with a Message from Crash Fixes, I can send a screenshot of it

you need to look at crash fix page, i can't remember if that has a fix for memory allocation. I never have used crash fixes, though it definitely seems like a good mod. memory allocation fix has to be implemented to play modded skyrim,

i just looked real quick and crash fixes has good info on front page (2nd Paragraph) you need to set up crash fix properly or go with skse ini,as its on mod in your MO. real easy, since you have crash fixes installed i would try to adjust that, crash fixes does a lot of neat things for users.

Your load order, particular in the left window(Mods) looks like it could use some love. I always try to have both windows match, for the most part. I use blueprint found on this page, under load order, https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/753253-only-you-can-prevent-forest-fires/.

What i do is i get my mods in order in left window, when that's a 100% i disable all of them. Then i start at top mod, activate, move down 1 by 1 and that right window with plugins will load up perfectly. Is your game going break if mods in left and right window are not perfect? NO, Mine are not 100% identical, MO forces esms to the top on plugin side, it's a OK, trying to have both sides as close is a good rule to follow that's helpful in maintaining good load order.

MO and the left window. MO is good at telling you when mods are overwriting. A lot if times MOd b can overwrite stuff in MOd a and it's fine, texture mods will overwriter each other, especial terrain mods, load best one last in most cases. USLEEP will be overwriting a lot. far from game breaking, a lot of USLEEP overwrites are things that i want and tes5edit usually gets those things overwriting back. You will see scripts from USLEEP overwriting, 99+% of the time it's the same script being overwriting.

Sadly MO doesnt tell you when you have nav mesh problems or dirty mods, tes5edit rules.....
