Basically I have installed the new skse64 version (2.0.15) I don't know mod is making my game crash, during the start up menu screen (the bethseda logo screen). My game force closes itself out. Not once have I ever dealt with a problem like this before. If a mod was outdated, it "couldn't"? made my game crash like this before like it is doing now. Might be a mod thing might be a skse64 launcher error. I dunno. This is pissing me off. I don't have any heavy game base mods installed either. Nor have a lot of mods installed either. I can't figure out what is happening here. I use NMM, have no idea how to copy and past my mod list onto here. Just seeking out some information or at least some help or work arounds that "might" work for me. Thank you. You could say: roll back your game version. -NO- As I stated: Never had this problem before, until now. I can use the normal skyrim se steam launcher but not the skse64 one. The skyrim se steam launcher works just fine without getting any crashes (loads up my game just fine), it "seems" skse_launcher is broken or at least for me. I upgraded to 1.5.73, upgraded SKSE and some mods (USSEP, CRF and RaceMenu). and it just closes, I do not know what to do, I do not want to lose my saves. I had to go back to the old versions of both, but now my save that was playing disappeared. I use the MO2, save files are in "my documents / my games" but it does not appear so that it can be loaded on the startup screen. Does anyone know what can it be? spec5 Posted March 14, 2019 Share Posted March 14, 2019 Same issue here. No problem before update. Installed latest skse64 with same issue. It will load from skse64 okay to logo but when its' ready to display the save screen it CTD. Loaded direct from desktop icon, goes into loading and when that first saved screen loads it CTD. I have disabled many mods not with same effect. Mods that shouldn't have anything to do with this issue. I've used LOOT to arrange order. Same results. In the past after loading the latest script there was no problem. What the H did they do to destroy this game , again? Let me tell you how much I despise Bethesda right now. ANY ideas would help. matrixbrasil Posted March 15, 2019 Share Posted March 15, 2019 I updated SKSE and deactivated racemenu, lazy tools and additemmenu. I tested a list of 70 mods to get at those that were causing the game crash. Now everything is okay though but, I miss the additemmenu to test my editions on armor.
