DawnGuard Beyond death quest bug fix

Hello everyone

Anybody who is suffering from the skyrim dawnguard quest named "beyond death" where you meet "Valerica" whic is Serena's mother and during the quest progression she reaches a stages where she wont move an inch , i digged the solution out and made a small video about it , hope it will be helpful

Thanks so much friend! But for the scroll part i have a better and safer way. Use your ~ key and click on the box containing the elder scroll, then type disable. That would take away the box but not the scroll. Which means you would actually see the scroll floating there which you can just take it. Hope this helped. :D

I have a similar problem, when I first approach Valencia before the barrier is disabled the quest updates to read "accomplished: find Valencia" but the next stage does not activate. When I use console commands she activates but Serana will not talk to her when prompted. which freezes the quest. If I use Commands to continue I can kill the keepers but the barrier won't drop and Valencia won't move. Even after all the quest is done the next quest won't update or even start.

Here's my pretty lore friendly to get around the problem of "Valerica won't lead you to the blood scroll" glitch:

 

(I had already killed the Keepers to be able to reach Valerica before we went to meet with her. (If that matters))

 

The dialog progressed until the point she said "follow me" and of course did nothing.

I went to the console and clicked on her so her ref id showed up, (at this point I always enter "inv" to make sure it says "valerica has xx items...." because sometimes the wrong ID shows up when you click on someone.)

I then went to the "Boneyard" and slayed "Durnehviir" solo.

Then, while I was still in the "Boneyard" I went to the console and entered "moveto player" without the quotes, then when I exited the console she showed up and immediately walked over to the box with the "blood scroll."

I talked to her and when she finished talking she opened the box and I was able to get the scroll which completed that portion of the quest.

When I went back to the original location she was at, my buddy "Serana" was patiently waiting for me. (then I was successfully able to talk with "Durnehviir" then leave the Soul Cairn.)
