Vortex fails to get access key

Shalom dear Nexus Community,

since I first installed Vortex (few months ago I think) it is unable to log in with my nexus account. Whenever I click the "register or log in" button, there comes a message "failed to get access key". Clicking "more" and then "show details" it says:

Error: self signed certificate in certificate chain
at TLSSocket.<anonymous> (_tls_wrap.js:1103:38)
at emitNone (events.js:106:13)
at TLSSocket.emit (events.js:208:7)
at TLSSocket._finishInit (_tls_wrap.js:637:
at TLSWrap.ssl.onhandshakedone (_tls_wrap.js:467:38)
As I am a total noob in computer matters I do not understand a thing here, nor have I found a way to fix this (multiple reinstalls, closing and reopening it obviously did not change anything)

I still have this issue after some time of using nmm and now going back to vortex~~
Any ideas to fix this are highly apppreciated ) wish you all a great time!

EDIT: The problem was with Kaspersky AntiVirus not allowing some apps and programs internet access... I feel kinda stupid now haha :/ sorry for bothering you guys before even figuring that out lol... well, now its fixed at least. also sorry for two threads on the same topic, I thouhgt there was an error withthe first one so I wrote it again~
