Morrowind Script Extender

I use the latest MWSE 9.4a [http://sourceforge.net/projects/mwse/files/Morrowind%20Script%20Extender/Morrowind%20Script%20Extender%200.9.4a/]

Morrowind goes down every thirty mins to an hour and it is always atributed to mwse.dll. This thing is 5 1/2 years old, will it ever be updated/fixed?

I know what MGE is and what it did to my box - "In its current state, MGE is not a finished product. It is not user friendly. Please do not attempt to use it unless you have some level of computer literacy and are prepared to spend some time experimenting with what options work best (or at all) for you. It may prove incompatible with your graphics card or some other system component; Intel integrated cards especially suffer from problems with distant land." - NOPE not ever again

By itself MWSE is simple to copy/paste and enables my game to be comically entertaining, However, the question still remains "MWSE is 5 1/2 years old, will it ever be updated/fixed?"

MGE 3.8 doesn't solve anything. There is no "Disable MGE In game" on it's console. There is no button to use MWSE. I aquired the above quote from it's Wiki page.

The original question still stands. It's been 5 1/2 years since 9.4.1 came out. What's the story on MWSE? Has it been replaced by something better?

Where's morrowind.exe installed and where's mwse.dll installed? If there're in Program Files (default for Steam library) that could be the cause, I think you can move Steam games to other directories these days.

What version of MWSE?

Do you know that MGE XE has an embedded version of MWSE you can use?

C:\Games is where most people seem to have it. Basically somewhere out of Program files / Program Files (x8s); in those folders you run into UAC and folder virtualisation issues.

By latest version of MWSE you mean the one released some years back or the beta being talked about on Bethsoft?

[Edit: Not that that should make that much difference as there aren't any mods out of beta for the newes MWSE version, AFAIK]
