[Mod request/question] rebalancing annoying mechanics

So, i think by this moment almost everyone who played through the game thinks what many endgame martial arts (and some prosthetic, like flame spear and final phoenix plumes) are significantly held back by spirit emblem costs, and spririt emblem farm itself is not fun, grindy and unnecessary process. So, i'd like to offer some very obvious balance adjustment. First, all spirit emblems (and at least one more ressurection) refill upon rest. Second, remove spirit emblem cost of all martial arts and also lower cost of flame spear and plumes by one, to match their previous iterations. I think that this wel make the game far more enjoyable and give player much more gameplay options without any negative impact on game difficulty. Actually, i was trying to do this by myself first, this would've been my first modding experience, i managed to unpack all the data from the game, but then run in the issue of finding variables responsible for those mechanics, especially considering how cluttered game files with all the DS references. So my question for someone experienced in the modding of from's games, where can i find all these variables? If you would at least help with general direction, i'll try to figure it out by myself.

I've been looking into this and my best guess is that they're located in the param > gameparam > gameparam.parambnd.dcx file. There are files like SkillParam.param and SwordArtsParam.param. However I haven't found a way to actually read and edit these files, in notepad++ they are just garbled null characters. I don't know if there's any tools that let you mess with them yet.

Yeah, i actually noticed those and tried to extract them with https://github.com/Pireax/DS3ParamExtractor, but those those 2 exact files it did not work. However, it extracts fine EquipParamWeapon.param for example. It might be dictionary issue, if particular sekiro files have something different in their encoding, but tool itself dosen't throw any exceptions, it just dosen't create .csv file as it supposed to. I guess i might write this tool creater as well, maybe he might help.

How exactly did you run the tool in the first place? I must be missing something here, running the BigHat exe did nothing

Either put files in the same folder as .exe or use it from the terminal
