However, you need it because you are modding your game and not because of Vortex. Getting achievements on a modded Fallout 4 was a problem long before Vortex came along. rmm200 Posted April 1, 2019 Share Posted April 1, 2019 Unlike Mod Organizer, there is no such thing as "running through Vortex". It does not matter if Vortex is running or not.The shortcut Vortex gives you to your game is no different than a shortcut on your desktop.Start your game any way you like.
