Wrythen Posted April 4, 2019 Share Posted April 4, 2019 I am using Vortex version 0.17.8 and I am trying to mod Skyrim LE. I am using Windows 10, x64, and I have 16gb of RAM. I am using several mods (50) and have been using Vortex for about 6 mo now. I had 6 profiles and was deleting one using the drop down menu on the right side of the "edit" button. I confirmed yes when I got the warning, are you sure "this cannot be undone". Flicker, ... Vortex has completely restarted. No profiles, no downloads, no mods. All gone. I have cloned and deleted many profiles in the past but this was a first. Anybody had/have this problem? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Wrythen Posted April 4, 2019 Author Share Posted April 4, 2019 It was late last night so I played with it a bit and then shut it down. This morning I was going through the motions of resetting vortex, searched for games, chose my skyrim folder and lo-and-behold it asked which profile I wanted to use. I selected my current profile and vortex brought everything back! Still don't know why it reset in the first place but damn glad it saw the old profiles when re-initializing.
