You like W3EE 4.0? You liked the Lazarus Project? You want to help to improve it?

Hi there

I'm Charan from the "W3EE Dedicated Modding Team". Kolaris and I are about to resurrect the Lazarus Project for W3EE, but this time it would consist mostly of minor tweaks and adjustments, since the original Lazarus is incorporated into W3EE.

To the point then: I'm looking for an average scripter, who will help me rework how potions accumulate toxicity. So I basically need someone who can rewrite the toxicity formula from instant flat toxicity on drinking into toxicity overtime per second while a potion is active. Sadly I'm unable to can when it comes to scripts - can't even make sense from what I see so I am able only to perform very basic edits. Kolaris has gone for few days, but it would be great to try out some stuff before he returns, so that he could come back to something at least semi-complete, requiring just minor tweaking.

So yeah. If you think you could make requested edit, feel free to hit me up through DM and I will share a complete design doc which we could discuss further.

News of the mod limit being lifted, or at least greatly increased, brought me back. Alas, the real news I've been patiently waiting for is that some brave and noble soul managed to reverse the unholy graphical downgrade to which the game was subjected. But I'm starting to believe that will never happen. They have managed to salvage higher quality animations, and other left over assets, yet the graphics no one has been able to bring back :sadface.

Anyway, I digress. I recall I did some changes to Primer when last I played, that sort of resemble what you want. It was really easy, I just changed the sign of the code that decreases toxicity in the toxiicity.ws script, so that instead of decreasing it, it would increase it. So from x -= y, to x += y, or something like that. After doing that you can play around with the mod settings to adjust the time and duration of the effect, assuming W3EE kept the settings. You would need to greatly diminish the toxicity of all potions in the xml files though, or even better set them to 0, for things to work nicely.

I would send you my changes but I deleted everything when I uninstalled the game. I wished I hadn't though, because I had made extensive changes to many mods I used, to better suit my tastes, which would come in handy if I ever decide to play again. Oh well, in any case you should have no problem doing this.

Good luck.
