increasing the number of supported games?

NMM looks for lots of games when first installed whereas Vortex only supports 40ish odd games at the moment. Can the configurations that NMM uses be used to make configurations for Vortex? Or does the way Vortex works require both knowledge of the particular game's modding techniques and Vortex to make?

I ask because though I am not a programmer, if converting NMM configs to Vortex is just boring scut work then I don't mind pitching in. Having to buy the game and then learn it's programming is beyond me though :)

In the long run i think NMM is always going to have be a presence in the nexus world simply because of all the games it can support compared to Vortex.

I haven't used NMM in a while, but doesn't it support only something like, 38 games? Vortex is currently at 54 supported right now.

Edit: Er, yeah, 38 was an overestimation apparently. According to https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/modmanager/ Nexus Mod Manager only supports 24 games.

Plus, a lot of the Game Additions have been submitted by Nexus Members, on github, so expect a lot more games to be supported.

NMM wasn't the godly Mod Manager people keep believing it was.

Uh! Well I installed NMM just to check and it seems my memory is playing tricks, old age I guess:) I remember there being a lot more games searched for upon install, but it's good to be wrong; sometimes.
