Indivually colored map markers, not categorized

Hey Everyone,

after about 2 days of searching for a mod that really lets me color code my map markers individually (and not clustered into categories), I am starting to doubt that a mod like this actually exists as of now. On the other hand, that would be kinda weird, since I've read a lot of forum threads where people have expressed interest in a mod that does this.

For example, I want to color "cleared" areas or even cities where i know that i have no more quests to do, to be filled in any other color than the reagular whit for "discovered" or black for "undiscovered". I would even appreciate it, if I'd have to manually fill in every single map marker myself.

But as I mentioned in 2 days of searching Nexus and the steam workshop, I consistently ran into dead ends, where either nothing came of a request, which is reasonable since modding takes time, or I just found mods that let me color map markers, but as I mentioned, categorized, which isn't really what I'm looking for.

To be perfectly clear THIS ISN'T A MOD REQUEST, I just need your help to either:

1) hit me in the head, saying "Hey dumbass, there is a mod that let's you do exactly that. Here it is.", or

2) reassure me, that i'm not crazy, and that there really isn't a mod like that, which would be fine, as long as i have a definitive answer.

For additional information, I'm not using SkyUI or any other mod in general, since this is still my first playthrough after I've abandoned Skyrim for a couple of years without a real reason. I'm playing SSE, so with dawnguard etc. but that shouldn't be a problem i think, since i am looking for something that basically let's me color the markers in-game and therefore the version of the game shouldn't be a huge variable....I think.

Apologies for grammatical errors or if this is just the wrong thread to post it in and thanks in advance for any kind of honest answer.

Edit: As it turns out, it's not SSE, as i thought would be "Skyrim Special Edition". I just looked at my game cases, it's called "Legendary Edition". Just to clear that up.
